Awhile ago my mom asked me to go in search of my fleece sheet sets and spare blankets (I guess all my blankets are spare since they’re in storage).  I had found some of the blankets in the boxes stored in my closet, but not the sheets.

This morning I decided to brave the boxes in the basement.  (All of my bedroom boxes are in the house instead of the garage as I needed access to my clothes when I first got here).

The basement boxes were covered in spider webs.  Now the basement is also my sister’s bedroom, so I have no idea how she managed to survive with the sheer number of spiders that must live down there.  I hate spiders.

I blew on the webs, I jumped away from the webs, I brushed real and imaginary webs off of me, I searched high and low for spiders and jumped everytime something moved in the corner of my eye.  Since all 4 cats had come to help me look in boxes I jumped alot.

The first box had only pillows and a stick of honeysuckle in it.  Fuzzy appreciated the honeysuckle, but I really didn’t need the pillows.  THat meant I had to brave a second box of spider webs.

This one actually had a set of fleece sheets in it, and a spare blanket, so I guess it was worth the creepy crawly feeling.

The third box had another fleece set and a second blanket, now I know there’s a third set somewhere but I’m not going to go into the 4th and final box to find it  - because that one involves ducking under spider webs, and I don’t know that I could get that creepy crawly feeling out of my hair!

I also found part of my scarf collection.  I’m afraid I had more fun swinging scarfs around my neck then I did digging for blankets, but hey a girl needs her scarfs when she lives in Canada!

So the boxes are now folded up, the blankets and sheets are in the middle of the living room waiting to be sorted by mom, and I have scarfs to go with the snow on the ground! Now if Christmas and the Scot would just hurry up and come!
